As part of a compliance driven project one the UKs leading Hedge Funds required a high availability SAN solution backed up to a DR site across the WAN.  Strawberry recommended a Left Hand Networks P4000 solution with the SAN starter with replicating each node at the main site. Also a SATA box was attached to the cluster for archiving purposes which was required for compliance reasons. A third node was installed at the secondary site as further replication for Disaster Recovery and back up purposes.

We also upgraded the P4000s with 10Gb uplinks and implemented 10Gb switches to create a fully resilient and fast SAN solution.  One of the key drivers of this solution was compliance but the customer also had very tight budgetary constraints.  The P4000 range was well within their budget and the support costs were far less than the two other Storage vendors had provided.
