ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally recognised business standard adopted by 1 million organisations and companies throughout the world. This standard enforces a documented system enabling companies to become more effective, enhance customer focus, improve process management, and requires continual business development and improvement.

Nowadays more and more businesses prefer to trade exclusively with ISO 9001:2008 certified companies because there is greater accountability, traceability and higher levels of customer service. It is often a requirement for Tenders and supplier requirements in general.

In September 2010 Strawberry Global Technology became ISO 9001:2008 certified through BSI, a UKAS accredited body, and will be assessed on an annual basis to ensure ongoing compliance of this standard. In order to maintain our ISO 9001:2008 certification Strawberry Global technology developed the following Quality Management Policy, as part of the overall Quality Management System:

The Directors of Strawberry are committed to:

  • Understanding and fulfilling the needs of our clients
  • Providing and maintaining a high level of quality in the provision of service and all communications with our existing and prospective clients
  • Provision of unparalleled service and supply of the IT requirements of our clients
  • The consistent provision of an accurate and effective service supported by positive client feedback
  • Maintain status with key suppliers
  • Comply with all relevant and applicable legislation and ensure the prevention of accidents or pollution as a result of our business operations

 In particular Strawberry shall:

  • Establish defined Objectives & Targets for the growth, continual improvement and development of this business and its operating systems
  • Maintain its ISO 9001:2008 certification through BSI, a UKAS accredited body
  • Promote a culture of awareness and improvement throughout our business
  • Continually strive to provide rewarding customer service and support through the training and review of staff and their performance
  • Provide suitable and sufficient resources throughout the business to enable provision of service to be made
  • Seek to minimise wherever possible exposure to risk and the extent of environmental impacts created by the business

The Quality Management System was developed in accordance with the requirements of ISO9001 and aligned with the needs of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001.
