Environmental Policy
Waste reduction and recycling policies are of paramount importance to Strawberry Global Technology.
Adhering to guidelines which are both internal and government led, in order to reduce carbon footprint, ensures the reduction of potential adverse effects to the environment that could result from company operations. Our processes are robust and auditable, compliant with ISO 9001.
WEEE Compliance
The 2007 WEEE directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is an EU wide requirement, and a defining part of the company’s overall environmental policy. It is designed to make manufacturers and importers (the ‘producer’) responsible for the cost of disposal of redundant equipment. Strawberry Global are fully compliant within the parameters of this agreement.
Waste Disposal
Any partnership in which Strawberry engages is with the best of breed companies. With regards to waste disposal, that company is BTR UK (Britain’s Trusted Recycler). They are the company of choice with a number of government bodies, who require the strictest of compliance in the handling of their data and recycling, and provide value for money, great service and strong resale returns.
However the options for working with Strawberry to recycle effectively are not limited only to BTR, a number of key vendors also offer programmes and Strawberry Global are able to work within these parameters and advise on the options available.
Whoever the choice may be, you are guaranteed that the recycling solution will:
- Be tailored to meet individual customer requirements
- Meet all current legal and environmental requirements
- Safeguard customers' data and legal responsibilities
- Ensure a consistent service as governed by our ISO 9001 certification
- Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction
